My Story
I have always been creative and crafty since the day I was born. At a very young age I could be found making something out of nothing almost all the time. From crafting bunk beds for my dolls out of shoeboxes to designing my own t-shirts, creativity and production has always been a part of me. I have created hundreds of items over the years for my friends and family, many of them will tell you they have never received a "store bought" gift or card from me. When I was in my early twenties, I decided to go to nursing school and the time I had to create became less and less. I graduated with my degree in nursing in 2008 and have worked in emergency and trauma medicine since. In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I like many others started to become severely depressed. When the depression started to take hold, I immediately started crafting again. I not only reignited my passion for designing and creating things, but I also truly honed my skill. Over the past three years, many people who would see my work would tell me “You really need to start a business, you're really great at this." I would always shrug my shoulders and say, nah it's just a hobby and I don't want to have a business because I love it too much for it to ever become work. After many long conversations with one of my best friends about my passion for designing and creating I realized that my profession should be something I love implicitly, something I am not only passionate about but love with my whole heart and am able to put everything I have into. That being said, in July of 2023 I took the leap and Lux Ink LLC. was formed.

Lux Ink was founded on the belief that every special moment deserves a unique touch. That's why it is my mission to specialize in creating custom designs for your special occasions. I will work with you to bring your vision to life, ensuring that every detail is tailored to your preferences and style.
